Styling Services Terms & Policies

These terms apply to styling services booked with 1st Lady Stylist™ / 1st Lady House of Style™.

Services Covered

Styling services may include Closet Audit, Closet Audit & Shopping Game Plan, Complete Styling & Personal Shopping Experience, Bridal Styling Experience, consultations, and other personalized styling services offered through 1st Lady House of Style™.

Booking Deposits & Balances

Booking deposits are nonrefundable and are applied toward the selected service unless otherwise stated. Any remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the scheduled service date, unless a different payment schedule is stated for the selected service.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

Please provide at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a styling appointment. Requests made inside the 48-hour window may be subject to loss of the booking deposit or other terms stated at booking.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate sizing, preferences, budget information, event details, deadlines, and other information needed to perform the selected service. Clients are also responsible for timely communication, attendance, and completing requested questionnaires or intake forms.

Styling recommendations are professional guidance and do not guarantee a specific outcome, fit, retailer availability, delivery date, or personal response from third parties.

Retailer Purchases, Returns & Alterations

Unless specifically included in the purchased service, merchandise costs, shipping, return fees, tailoring, alterations, and other third-party expenses are the client's responsibility. Retailer return and exchange rules are controlled by the retailer.

Virtual & In-Person Services

For virtual services, clients are responsible for adequate connectivity, timely participation, and providing requested photos or information. For in-person services, travel or location-related charges may apply when disclosed before booking.

Electronic Consent

Submitting a booking, required acknowledgment, or electronic signature confirms that the client has reviewed and agrees to the applicable service terms and policies.

Booking Confirmation

By booking a styling service, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to the applicable payment terms, cancellation and rescheduling requirements, client responsibilities, and service conditions listed above.
